A new poster available of Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, also called Jumanji 2, is out. This movie is the sequel to the 1995 classic film Jumanji that starred Robin Williams, Bonnie Hunt, Kirsten Dunst, Bradley Pierce, David Alan Grier and others. It was based on a magical board game that had real-life ramifications like players may be set upon by a swarm of bats, or a lion, or may get sucked into a jungle. The film had a light-hearted tone despite their being almost apocalyptic effects of playing the game. Directed by Jake Kasdan, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle stars Dwayne Johnson, Jack Black, Kevin Hart, Karen Gillan, Nick Jonas and Bobby Cannavale. The premise is simple. Four friends find a video-game called Jumanji and get sucked into the same jungle that Robin Williams’ character was in the original film. In Welcome to the Jungle, Jumanji has evolved from a board game to a video game; probably keeping with the spirit of the times. The poster shows the four characters standing in a tropical rainforest kind of jungle and rhinos that almost look to be made of stone in the backdrop. As the trailer showed us, this film promises even more adventure than the original. The heroes will encounter beasts like rhinos, leopards, snakes and so on. So how will they return to the real world? We do not know. What we do know is that this movie is going to be fun without possessing a lot of substance.
