The 11th edition of Bengaluru International Film Festival BIFFes will be held between 21 to 28 February 2019
The festival is being organized by the Karnataka Chalanachitra (Film) Academy for Government of Karnataka.

We would like to recall here that our 10th edition held during February 22 – March 01, 2018 in Bengaluru, was a resounding success with screening of 220 films across 12 screens from more than 45 countries, and witnessed by more than 9000 delegates (with 1,10,000 Footfalls), who enjoyed and appreciated the quality of cinema presented.
The Eleventh edition, to be held during February 21 – 28, 2019, in Bengaluru and will have different sections as mentioned below. Selection of films will be made by expert committees.
Like in the previous editions, Competitive sections for Asian, Indian and Kannada Cinema will also be held with handsome Cash prizes. An award for Lifetime achievement is also part of the film festival.
The festival will also host various forums for academic interactions on Filmmaking & Film Appreciation like seminars, Workshops, Master classes etc., for the benefit of film professionals, discerning audiences and students on different aspects of cinema.
We invite filmmakers, film fraternity, film critics, discerning cineastes from amongst the general public & International and National film Institutes & distribution agencies/organizations, to participate in this 11th edition of BIFFes. We sincerely hope the film lovers will utilize this opportunity to enrol as delegates and enjoy the contemporary world cinema and the classics.
Today Feb 23rd schedule will be curating two sessions at the BIFFES(Bengaluru International Film Festival).
Session 1 at 2:30pm with Prasad Sutar, Co-Founder and VFX Supervisor, NY VFXWaala on “Visual Effects in Regional Films - Importance & Effectiveness”.
