February 25th, 2014
Ubisoft shows Rayman Legends on the Ubisoft media briefing at the E3 2012 in Los Angeles, California, on June 4, 2012. “Rayman Legends" is the lovely and seeming and masterful sequel to 2011′s hit reboot of Ubisoft’s plat forming mascot, Rayman Origins, was released on the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4 on February 21, 2014.
The new versions feature increased visuals, but they feature a set of exclusive characters unlockable in the Heroes’ Gallery. The Xbox One version will get Ray Vaas and Far Glob, both based on the iconic Vaas from Far Cry 3, in addition to Splinter Ray, inspired by Sam Fisher.
The PS4 version gets Assassin Ray, inspired by Edward Kenway from Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag. Both platforms will include a new VIP status and hero, Champion Ray, which will be granted to the most active and highest-ranked players in the Online Challenges, in addition to players who are actively involved in the Rayman Legends community.
In addition, both systems get system particular features exclusive playable challenges on the Xbox One version, Remote Play and touch pad support on the PS4. Honestly, the Xbox One version sounds like a better deal to me of these two.
Rayman Legends were released 2013 on PS3, Xbox 360, Wii U, PC, and PS Vita. It has sold 1 million copies worldwide.
Ubisoft and Sony Pictures Entertainment have declared that the studios are partnering to develop a full length feature film based on the Rabbids, the irreverent, wacky characters from the popular Television series and video games.
